Kickoff checklist: what we need from you
Use this checklist to prepare for your kickoff call and the days right after it. Having these ready keeps the three-week timeline on track.
At the kickoff call
- Approve your funnel, or note any edits.
- Review your CRM counts and flag anything that doesn't match what you expect.
- Review any data blockers or flags.
- Discuss your pilot goal and KPIs.
Within 5 days
- Connect your ad platforms, if they aren't already connected.
- Give Scowtt read access to your ad accounts, so we can audit which campaigns are a good fit.
- Share your baseline internal reporting, if you use it to measure success.
Within 2 weeks
- Align on test structure.
- Confirm campaigns and KPIs, once data validation and the platform audit are complete.
People
- A project owner who can make decisions about campaigns and goals.
- Data owners for your CRM and any other systems Scowtt will connect to.
- An ad account admin for each platform in scope.
- Someone from legal or procurement to handle agreements.
- A sales or operations contact who knows how leads are qualified.
Legal and data access
- Agreements and any security review started at kickoff.
- A plan for connecting your CRM and other data sources. See Choose how to connect your data.
- Confirmation that click IDs are stored on leads, or a plan to start capturing them.
- Your historical backfill scope, for example the last 90 days, 12 months or full history.
- A technical contact, plus a schema or data dictionary for the data you'll share.
- If you use GA4, turn on its BigQuery export now. It's off by default and isn't retroactive.
