Regulated industries
Scowtt works with businesses in healthcare, financial services, insurance, education and other regulated or sensitive industries. You can run Scowtt while sharing only the data you're comfortable with.
Share only what you need to
- Scowtt doesn't require personally identifiable information. It links leads to ads using click IDs, and its models learn from patterns in activity and outcomes, not from who a person is.
- Sharing an email address or phone number is optional. If you do, it's hashed with SHA-256 before it's sent to ad platforms.
- You can limit what you share further, for example a hashed email in place of names, or only data for people who have opted in.
How your data is protected
- Your data, models and results are processed in a dedicated environment, with access limited to your account.
- Your data is never used to train or evaluate models for other clients.
- All data stays in the United States.
- Scowtt is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and compliant with GDPR.
Meta campaigns in regulated industries
Regulated advertisers usually send Scowtt's signal to Meta as a custom event rather than a standard event like Purchase. Most regulated clients also have Meta's Core Setup turned on, which means the custom event must be reviewed and approved before it appears. The Meta setup guides walk through this.
Start legal review early
If your team needs the SOC 2 report, a data processing agreement or a security questionnaire, raise it at kickoff so review doesn't delay onboarding. Your Sales Rep or Account Manager can help with any requirements specific to your industry.
