Data & Integrations
Connect your CRM and ad accounts, map lifecycle stages, and meet Scowtt's data requirements.
CRM connectors
- Connect Salesforce to ScowttScowtt learns which leads become customers by reading your CRM history. Salesforce connects through a native connector in the Scowtt app, which is the fastest way to share CRM data. You authorize access with a standard OAuth login, so no credentials are shared directly with Scowtt.
- Connect HubSpot to ScowttHubSpot connects through a native connector in the Scowtt app. You authorize access with a standard OAuth login, so no credentials are shared directly with Scowtt.
- Connect Klaviyo to ScowttKlaviyo connects through a native connector in the Scowtt app. You authorize access with a standard OAuth login, so no credentials are shared directly with Scowtt.
Other data sources
- Choose how to connect your dataThere are several ways to share CRM and analytics data with Scowtt. Your Scowtt team will help you pick the one that fits your environment best.
- Share data through BigQueryIf your data lives in BigQuery, or can be exported there, you grant Scowtt read-only access to the relevant dataset. Your data stays in your own Google Cloud project; nothing is copied or moved. Scowtt queries the dataset directly on a schedule.
- Send files through SFTPSFTP is a simple way to get started quickly. Your team uploads files to a Scowtt SFTP account on an agreed schedule, using key-based login.
- Share data through Amazon S3You keep full ownership of your S3 bucket. Your team creates a role in your own AWS account that gives Scowtt read-only access to a specific bucket or folder. No access keys or long-lived credentials are ever shared, and you can revoke access entirely on your end at any time.
- Share data through Google Cloud StorageFor teams already on Google Cloud, Scowtt can set up a read-only access pattern against a GCS bucket you own, similar to the S3 setup.
- Push data to Scowtt's APIIf your team has development resources and wants to send data directly, Scowtt can provide an API endpoint for your systems to push to. Because the API is flexible across customers, it starts with a short mapping exercise to align your fields with what Scowtt expects.
- Let Scowtt pull from your APIIf none of the other options fit, for example when your data is only available through a proprietary internal API, Scowtt can build a custom connector to pull directly from your system. It's the most resource-intensive option and is usually recommended only when no other export path exists.
Ad platforms
- Which ad platforms Scowtt supportsScowtt sends predictive guidance into the ad platforms where your campaigns already run.
- Connect your ad accountsScowtt sends predictive guidance to the platforms running your campaigns. You connect each platform once, from Integrations in the Scowtt app. Connecting doesn't change your campaigns or bidding.
- Connect Google Ads (OCI)Connecting Google Ads lets Scowtt upload offline conversions (OCI) that carry its predicted values. For initial setup, only step 1 is required. The later steps happen once Scowtt starts sending conversion actions.
- Connect Meta Ads (CAPI)Scowtt sends its predicted values to Meta through the Conversions API (CAPI), as a new custom event inside your existing dataset. For initial setup, steps 1 to 4 are all that's required.
- Set up a new Meta dataset for ScowttA separate Meta dataset is required whenever your BAU campaigns and Scowtt would use the same event type, for example when both use Purchase, or when BAU optimizes on your whole dataset. A new dataset creates a true data wall, so Scowtt's predicted values can't leak into BAU campaigns.
- Connect Microsoft AdsConnecting Microsoft Ads lets Scowtt send its predicted values to your Microsoft Ads account. Most accounts connect in a couple of minutes from the Scowtt app. If your organization's Microsoft settings block the connection, there's a simple alternative.
Data requirements
- Required fields and lifecycle stagesTo optimize advertising toward your highest-value customers, Scowtt models the full lifecycle of a lead after it's generated. That needs visibility into sales activity, engagement and funnel progress in your CRM, plus how people behave on your website before they become a lead.
- Capturing click IDs on your formsA click ID is a code an ad platform adds to the link when someone clicks your ad, such as GCLID for Google or FBCLID for Meta. Saving it with each lead lets Scowtt send the lead's predicted value back to the exact ad click that brought them in.
- Data refresh scheduleScowtt works best with fresh data, because predictions reach your ad platforms while campaigns are still optimizing.
- Data format standardsFor file-based delivery through S3, GCS or SFTP, exports should follow these standards.
