No PII required: how Scowtt protects customer data
Scowtt doesn't require any personally identifiable information (PII) to work. Its models learn from patterns in activity and outcomes, not from who a person is.
What Scowtt uses instead
To link a lead back to the ad that brought them in, Scowtt uses ad click IDs, such as Google's GCLID, captured on your forms. The signals sent to ad platforms carry predicted conversions and values, not your raw customer records.
If you choose to share PII
Sharing an email address or phone number is optional. It can improve how well platforms match leads, especially leads without a click ID. Any PII you share is always hashed with SHA-256 before it's sent to ad platforms.
For healthcare and other sensitive industries, you can limit what you share, for example a hashed email in place of names, or only data for people who have opted in.
