Learning periods
Whenever a campaign starts using a new conversion signal, the ad platform needs time to learn from it. This learning period is normal, and results often move around while it happens.
What to expect
The first two weeks of a pilot are mostly learning. Setup is confirmed, the platform adjusts to Scowtt's signal, and no performance difference is expected yet. Spend and lead volume can fluctuate during this time.
How to avoid resetting it
- Avoid other major campaign changes during the learning period, such as new creative, targeting or bid strategies.
- Raise budgets in steps rather than all at once.
- Large budget changes on a campaign, often more than about 20%, can send it back into learning.
Why it's worth the wait
A campaign that's given time to learn from a stronger signal builds a better foundation than one that's constantly being reset. Your Scowtt team will flag anything unusual, so you don't have to react to day-to-day swings.
