Connect Microsoft Ads

Connecting Microsoft Ads lets Scowtt send its predicted values to your Microsoft Ads account. Most accounts connect in a couple of minutes from the Scowtt app. If your organization's Microsoft settings block the connection, there's a simple alternative.

Before you start

  • Admin access to the Microsoft Ads account in scope, or permission to invite users to it.
  • A login for the Scowtt app from your Sales Rep or Account Manager.

Connect from the Scowtt app

  1. Open Integrations in Scowtt

Log in to the Scowtt app and go to Integrations. Under Microsoft Ads, click Connect.

  2. Sign in to Microsoft

Sign in with the Microsoft account you use for Microsoft Ads and approve access.

  3. Confirm the connection

Back in the Scowtt app, Microsoft Ads should show as Connected.

If the connection doesn't work

Some organizations' Microsoft settings don't allow outside apps to connect to Microsoft Ads. If that happens, Scowtt can connect through a dedicated Scowtt user instead. Your part is to invite that user to your account:

  1. Get the email address to invite

Your Sales Rep or Account Manager will send you the Scowtt email address to use.

  2. Invite it to Microsoft Ads

Sign in to Microsoft Ads with an account that can invite users. Go to Settings, then User management, and invite the Scowtt email address as a Standard user.

  3. Let your Sales Rep or Account Manager know

Once the invite is sent, Scowtt accepts it and finishes the connection in the Scowtt app.

Troubleshooting

We work with an agency that manages our Microsoft Ads account

Your agency can complete these steps on your behalf, including sending the invite.
